If you live alone, your friends can also help you fight the battle. Talk to them and let them know what you are going through. Alienating your self from them and being alone most of the time would make you feel more vulnerable to the cravings. Try going out and have fun only in non-smoking places.

There are also support groups you can join in your community that offers assistance to people like you. There you will interact with other people and learn about their journey and their difficulties as well.

It’s not the end of the world if you cannot find a group to help you. All you need is a great deal of determination and willpower to get through. After all, it was you in the first place who introduced smoking to your life. Be responsible enough to be the same person who will eradicate the wrong deed you have done.

You see, life is really not just about happy thoughts and blue skies. There are times you really have to see the worst of everything in order to know the meaning of life and not just take it for granted. When you quit smoking, support yourself and become grateful enough that you even had the chance to see yourself kick the habit rather than succumb to an illness and die before you get a chance to kick it out.
